Ashland Special Needs Ministry

For some with disabilities, joining the mainstream class or activities may be difficult or seem impossible.  So let’s talk about how we can make that happen!  What can we do as a community to help make learning about Jesus more fun, interactive, pleasurable, and inclusive for families, children, and adults with disabilities?

Ashland Special Needs Ministry wants to meet you and your family and help in the following ways:

  • Provide twice-monthly respite care in local churches
  • Work toward sending your family to Family Retreat with Joni and Friends
  • Welcome your family into a church body where we help train staff and volunteers to care for your family so that you may enjoy time in the church service and your family may enjoy Sunday school or other church activities
  • Pure Joy; a program during the 10:45 church service at Ashland Grace that has inclusive bible lessons at their level.
